The Hope Hub recently had the opportunity to welcome the Rt Hon Al Pinkerton MP to our Day Services Building, giving him the opportunity to see for himself the difference we are making in our community.
Al’s interest and ongoing support for our work with homelessness, unemployment, mental health challenges and poverty is much appreciated. Al was given tour of our premises and had the opportunity to speak to and connect with Staff, Volunteers and Service Users. Learning what The Hope Hub means to each individual. During the visit Al officially opened our new kitchen kindly funded by SHBC CIL Fund and B&Q Foundation. Al presented certificates of achievement recognising everything from food hygiene courses to personal growth, finding stability and belonging. A fantastic morning was had by all and we look forward to welcoming back Al Pinkerton MP to The Hope Hub soon.
