A warm and friendly welcome can make all the difference to those who visit us—whether they’re Service Users, visitors, or supporters. We’re looking for compassionate and reliable volunteers to help greet guests as they arrive, offer a hot drink, and check if they need a warm meal or a food parcel.
As a Welcome Volunteer, you’ll also play a key role in building positive relationships with Service Users—chatting, making conversation, and helping to create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. You may also support with facilitating light, enjoyable activities such as arts and crafts, which can be a great way to encourage engagement and bring a sense of community.
We’re hoping to build a team of Welcome Volunteers to support our opening hours: Tuesday to Friday, 10am–2pm. Days and hours can be flexible and agreed based on your availability.
