We are absolutely thrilled with our first ever Big Give #ChristmasChallenge Campaign. Incredible support enabled us to make that magic number and in total we raised £16,677 so we want to thank all our supporters so very much! We are confident now we are able to give our Service Users the support they need over the festive period. This will include booking people into hotels when services are closed and ensure they have relevant, useful and helpful gifts and food to sustain them over the whole 11 day period.
We will be holding a festive buffet with games and Christmas lunch at our Day Service in the week just before Christmas and then see them off into a warm, safe space until after the New Year! Additionally, we will be giving each person suitable food parcels and connect with family or friends if they so wish or support them to purchase a gift for someone else. All people who are homeless will also receive a gift card and their phone will be topped up to ensure they can reach out/stay in touch with people who matter to them at a very emotional and often traumatic time of year for many for the duration.
