Part-time Caseworker – ENDEAVOUR Project
Join us at an exciting time as we seek to help improve the lives of people who are homeless or at risk of becoming so and be part of making a difference within our Community. This is a fixed term two year contract, 16 hours per week and subject to experience, up to £12.00 per hour.
The Role: This is a new project to develop the ENDEAVOUR PROGRAMME and support Clients in the programme based on 12 hours per week and a 4 further hours per week working on other Case Work/Project/Administrative duties within the charity.

Responsibilities: Promote the Endeavour Programme and engage across the Surrey Heath Community Network.
Create the necessary Endeavour Project materials with guidance from Line Manager/CEO.
Research, recruit and host 3 Landlord Engagement and Host Home Events to identify the barriers to housing individuals on benefits/history of homelessness/worklessness and seek to put in place new agreements with Landlords and HOST Homes willing to offer their property for an agreed period to qualifying clients.
Support each qualifying Client with their Pathway Programme ensuring they understand their responsibilities as a tenant and engage with services at THH such as Living Well, IT support, debt and money management and others.
Cooperate with other organisations such as addiction support and statutory bodies so each person can progress onto a more long term housing solution.
Provide 1:1 client facing support to individuals who are homeless, at risk of homelessness and/or need intervention assistance.
About The Hope Hub Working in partnership with Surrey Heath Borough Council, The Hope Hub provides a SERVICES PATHWAY and currently opens Tuesday-Friday for clients offering CRISIS and EMPOWERMENT services. A registered charity set up by ecumenical members of Churches Together Camberley and is a faith based charity serving those who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, in financial hardship, unemployed and/or suffering with mental health difficulties and/or addiction(s).

Specific Requirements: • Due to the nature of the role, the post holder will need an enhanced DBS check and clean driving license with access to a suitable vehicle. • Be willing to host and attend meetings (including some evenings) and present to groups as part of developing the ENDEAVOUR project working closely with the Operations & Case Work Leader and CEO. • Have a keen interest in the Borough of Surrey Heath and an awareness of opportunities to promote the work of The Hope Hub to develop the defined project and measure the outcomes. • Enjoy managing and juggling priorities with an ability to remain cheerful and maintain a sense of humour. • Be a reliable team player where everyone counts, whether a beneficiary, volunteer or a member of the staff Hope Team.
