A 58-year-old male came to The Hope Hub in November 2019 having lived with his elderly parents for many years. His parents were tenants in a social housing property so when they passed away, the tenancy was relinquished and he was subsequently made homeless. During the day, he would spend time on the streets in Camberley town centre where The Hope Hub team engaged with him on a regular basis. By the end of March as Lockdown ensued, he was placed into emergency accommodation.

He engaged well throughout with renewed hope and was able to make a successful bid on the housing register resulting in moving into his own rented home in April 2020.
